Thank you in advance for taking the time to apply for the Hong Kong national ultimate frisbee teams. We will be selecting players to play in the Open, Women's & Mixed divisions for 2024-2025. This application form is for players wishing to represent Hong Kong at the 2025 Asia Oceanic Ultimate & Guts Championship (AOUGC) in Kamisu City, Japan, from Sept. 3-7th. This will require a commitment to participate in regular training sessions and tournaments in the lead up to the event. 為日後參與國際賽事做好準備，本會現接受屬會/通訊會員報名參加公開, 女子及男女混合組隊員之選拔。如你有興趣代表中國香港參加於2025年9月3日至7日在日本神栖市舉行的AOUGC或其他錦標賽，請填寫以下表格。

Potential Mid-Week Tryout Date:

• A mid-week tryout may be scheduled in early November. Details will be confirmed soon.

Registration Process:

• Players must complete a form indicating their preferred division. While we cannot guarantee placement in your preferred division, we will do our best to consider your preference.
• A $500 deposit is required upon submission of the form.

Tryout Structure:

• Selectors will rank all male and female matching players during the tryouts.

Initial Roster Selections:

• For the mixed division, the initial selection will include 12 players of each gender.
• Opens and Women's divisions will consist of a total of 20 players each.

Important Note:

• Initial selections do not guarantee a spot on the national team; this is considered an extended roster.

Mixed Division Final Roster:

• The final deadline for the mixed roster will be established after four training sessions.
• Coaches for the mixed team will make the final roster decision, selecting 9 male and 9 female matching players.
• Players not selected for the mixed division will have the opportunity to join the Opens and Women's teams.

Single Gender Teams:

• Those cut from the mixed division will participate in four training sessions with the single-gender teams.
• Final roster selections for these teams will consist of 18 players, determined by the single-gender coaches.

Conditions for Refund of $500 Deposit

• Non-Selection: The deposit will be refunded if the player is not selected for the final rosters of any division.
• Personal Withdrawal: Players who drop out for personal reasons will not be eligible for a refund.
• Rejection of Offers: Players who reject a training roster or final roster offer, regardless of whether it is their preferred division, will not be eligible for a refund.
• Refunds may be granted in special or extreme cases, subject to approval. For further assistance, please email admin@hkfdf.com.
